No future rounds of AEA will be funded.
The Australian Government has provided more than $240 million in funding to amplify Australia’s best asset: people whose skills, ideas and world-class research will benefit and shape Australia now, and into the future.
Projects aligning to the Australian Government identified priority areas of the economy, outlined in the National Reconstruction Fund Corporation (Priority Areas) Declaration 2023, have been funded.
AEA grants have prioritised projects that align with particular focus areas:
- Critical and strategic minerals processing
- Sustainable fuels
- Agriculture and food technology
- Space
- Renewable energy
- Quantum
- Artificial intelligence
- Advanced manufacturing
