He is an experienced commercialisation deal-maker in industry and government and has led teams at CSIRO, focusing on equity and licensing deals, as well as collaborative research and tech transfer. He specialises in Medical and Manufacturing sectors.
Charles has been a key commercial driver behind the formation, fund-raising and licencing of multiple companies and has been a director of several companies. He led the licencing of CSIRO IP and contributed to the formation and capital raising for companies such as PolyNovo, PolyActiva, MycRx, and Rhythm Biosciences.
